Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a very gentle hands-on method of detecting and correcting imbalances in the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord thus encouraging the body's own natural healing mechanisms to address the issues on physical, mental and emotional levels.

Using a soft touch practitioners release restrictions in the body which promotes a state of deep relaxation and facilitates the flow of fluids that surround the brain and spinal cord and improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By complementing the body's natural healing process, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to boost resistance to disease, and its effectiveness in a wide range of medical conditions associated with pain and dysfunction, including migraines/headaches, chronic pain, stress and tension-related problems, infants and children's disorders, fatigue, emotional issues, learning disabilities, sports injuries, post-traumatic disorders, recovery from surgery, and many others.

Somato-Emotional Release (SER) is a therapeutic process which uses and expands on the principles of Craniosacral Therapy to release suppressed emotions that may be inhibiting complete structural release and to help clear the mind and body of the residual effects of any kind of trauma.
