RETREAT & TREKKING

Twice a year, in spring and autumn we organise yoga treks or healing yoga & meditation retreats to Nepal. Whether you are looking to take time off for yourself, deepen your yoga practice, visit monasteries or just soak in the beautiful energies and sights of the Himalayan mountains, your trips will benefit the local communities through our Himalayan Ray Project to provide educational support to the impoverished children from remote Himalayan region.

Arrival in Kathmandu

The Swayambhunath Stupa was built on top of Swayambhunath hill. Three hundred steps lead to the top of the Stupa.

The heart of the Kathmandu Valley, this ancient square crowded with palaces & temples. This site is the most popular UNESCO World Heritage Site in Nepal.

Annapurna Poonhill Yoga Trek

A trekking experience into the heart of the Himalayas with yoga and social work

An easy, moderate and low-altitude trek with breath-taking scenery of some of the highest Himalayan peaks. From the terraced rice-fields above Pokhara, we walk on good trails through picturesque Gurung villages and the world's biggest rhododendron forest, which in spring, bursts with colours. The dawn views of Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchare and Annapurna south, from Poon Hill are the highlights of this trek. Short and fairly easy, this trek is a perfect starter for those not sure of their walking ability, or those who wish to make the most of only a few days. The trek finishes at the magnificent lake at Pokhara.

DAY 3 - 20 March
Departure from KTM to Pokhara
by flight
30 minutes domestic flight with beautiful view of the north side of the Himalayan mountain ranges. Tips-when you are entering inside plane stay in left side for the view.
Upon arrival, trek to Pothana 4hr

DAY 4 - 21 March
Pothana to Landruk 1640m 5hr
See the Gurung's second largest village and beautiful mountain views.

DAY 5 - 22 March
Landruk to Jhinu Hot Spring 1780m 4hr
Visit natural hot spring and relax there. People believe it's a natural medicine for skin ailments.

DAY 6 - 23 March
Jhinhu Hot spring to Tadapani 2590m 5hr
Walking uphill on a jungle trail. Tadapani is located in the hilltop and is cross junction for many trekkers. The view here is fantastic!

DAY 7 - 24 March
Tadapani to Gorepani 3194m 4 1/2hr
Getting nearer to our destination. We will be in the flower zone, the world's largest rhododendron forest. The view of the Himalayas and the wide landscape will leave you speechless.

DAY 8 - 25 March
Early morning ascend to Poon Hill in 45 mins (3210m)
Gorepani to Hile in 5 hours (1520m)
End of Trek Party

DAY 9 - 26 March
From Hile, trek to Nayapul in 2 hours and drive to Pokhara
