ABOUT THE PROJECT
Just like the first rays of light that hit the Himalaya mountains, we hope to give a ray of hope to impoverished children of the remote Everest region of the Himalayas.
MISSION
Helping under-privileged children and families in remote Everest region of the Himalayas by funding their education
Many young children worked as porters and carry heavy loads for days at a time with no access to the opportunities that an education can provide. This far-reaching initiative extends educational opportunities to children in Khumbu region of the Himalayas.
Education is the key out of poverty. Your help will transform their lives and their families in generations to come.
Besides education sponsorship, we also work in various projects like free medical camps, providing job through hiking, empowerment through skills training and development, natural disaster support, basic needs, inspirational programs, culture revival and many more.

Tashi Sherpa
CEO, Himalayan Rays Adventure
Born and raised in the beautiful Sherpa village at the lap of Mt. Everest, Tashi is a honest and determined individual who started his journey as a porter. Over time, his dedication and passion led him to teach Tashi how to lead tours, embodying the spirit of hard work and perseverance in the breathtaking landscapes he calls home. Tashi has 18 years of experience in the tourism industry and has gained in-depth knowledge of Nepal and Tibet. He has summited many peaks and major mountains. He has organized medical camps, yoga and retreat trips, motorbiking tours, pilgrimage tours, and trekking in the Himalayas. Additionally, he has brought charity and tours to monasteries, schools, and hospitals. Tashi is also a Tibetan therapist and practitioner and is the founder of the Himalayan Rays Project.
